SugarMatch Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or otherwise using SugarMatch (the "Platform", "we", "us"), you ("Member", "you") confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not register an account or continue to use the Platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active Members at least 14 days before they take effect through in-app notification or email. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility and Age Requirement

By registering you represent and warrant that: (a) you are at least 18 years old; (b) you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement; (c) you are not located in, under the control of, or a national of any country subject to a US embargo; (d) you have not been previously suspended or removed from SugarMatch; and (e) you are not a registered sex offender under any applicable law. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that fail any of these conditions, without refund.

3. Account Registration and Conduct

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep that information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify our trust & safety team immediately of any unauthorised access.

One person may hold one active account. Accounts are personal, non-transferable, and may not be sold, gifted, or licensed to a third party. Profile photographs must depict you, must be reasonably current, and must not include other identifiable individuals without their consent.

4. Prohibited Conduct

To preserve the discreet, premium character of the SugarMatch community, the following conduct is strictly prohibited:

• Soliciting, offering, or facilitating prostitution, escort services, or any commercial sexual transaction.
• Misrepresenting your identity, age, photographs, marital status, or material lifestyle facts.
• Posting nudity, sexually explicit imagery, or content that violates US obscenity law.
• Harassing, threatening, stalking, doxxing, or defaming any Member or staff member.
• Sending unsolicited financial requests, gift-card scams, cryptocurrency pitches, or investment offers.
• Sharing another Member's private information, photos, or messages outside the Platform.
• Using bots, scrapers, automation tools, or accessing the Platform other than through our official interfaces.
• Attempting to circumvent verification, Privacy Shield, or any safety feature of the Platform.

We investigate every report within 12 hours. Confirmed violations result in immediate account termination and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.

5. Membership and Billing

Basic SugarMatch membership is free. Optional Premium tiers unlock features such as expanded match volume, Incognito Browsing, and priority profile review. Premium tier pricing is displayed in US dollars at the point of purchase and includes applicable taxes.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal through your account settings. Refunds are issued in accordance with the Payment Refund Policy linked at checkout and where required by applicable consumer-protection law. Promotional credits and free trial periods are non-transferable and have no cash value.

6. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its software, design system, brand marks, written copy, photography, and curated editorial content, is owned by SugarMatch or its licensors and is protected by US and international intellectual-property law. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to access the Platform for personal, non-commercial use only.

You retain ownership of the content you upload (photographs, biographical text, messages). By uploading, you grant SugarMatch a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform. This licence terminates when you delete the content or your account, except where retention is required by law.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

SugarMatch is an introduction platform. We are not a party to, and bear no responsibility for, any private arrangement, relationship, or transaction between Members. The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid SugarMatch in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (USD 100). We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be resolved exclusively by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in Wilmington, Delaware, except that either party may bring a claim in small-claims court where eligible. You waive any right to participate in a class action against SugarMatch.
